Lisa, a talented individual with a rich family heritage, is the niece of renowned actress Gloria DeHaven and the granddaughter of Carter DeHaven Sr., a vaudevillian, producer, and director, as well as Evelyn Burd DeHaven, a beautiful bathing beauty from the iconic Mack Sennett's studio.
Born in the charming town of Eagle Rock, California, Lisa relocated to Maryland at the tender age of 10, where she began her journey as an actress. For an impressive 16-year period, from 1980 to 1996, Lisa supported herself through her acting career, accumulating an impressive array of credits.
During this time, Lisa was a mainstay at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, where she honed her skills as a performer, director, and teacher, gracing the stage for a remarkable 9-year span. In addition, she toured with various sketch comedy and improvisation groups, including the esteemed "Tour De Farce" and "ComedySports".
In 1997, Lisa returned to her native California, where she embarked on a new chapter in her career. For the next 9 years, she worked at the prestigious Special FX Make-up shop, Michael Burnett Productions, Inc., serving as Office Manager, Executive Assistant, and Production Coordinator on several notable films, including "Baby Geniuses", "Dee Snider's Strangeland", "The Forsaken", and "Creature Unknown".
Today, Lisa resides in the beautiful San Fernando Valley, surrounded by her loving companions – her dog and two cats – and is undoubtedly a testament to her remarkable talent, dedication, and perseverance in the entertainment industry.
