Biography

Lisa Hunt, a multifaceted individual, was fortunate enough to receive the same student film award at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Graduate School as the renowned Alexander Payne.

Initially, Lisa enrolled in film school solely because it seemed like an exciting and enjoyable experience, without any intention of pursuing a career in the film industry. However, fate had other plans, and she found herself entangled in the world of filmmaking.

Lisa's most notable accomplishments as a film director include her two memorable Hollywood temper tantrums. The first instance occurred when she confronted her producer, Mike Elliott, about the mistreatment of her crew. Her passion and conviction in defending her team's well-being were palpable.

The second notable incident took place when she was working on a slasher B-film with Roger Corman. In a bold display of frustration, Lisa stomped out a cigarette on Corman's carpet, protesting the excessive violence and gratuitous degradation of women in the film. This bold move showcased her unwavering commitment to artistic integrity and her refusal to compromise her values.

Following these experiences, Lisa realized it was time to bid farewell to Los Angeles and pursue a new path. She decided to earn a second advanced degree, putting her film school days behind her, and opting for a more stable and fulfilling career.
