Lisa Catara (Tarantino) is a 2020 Hall of Fame honoree at CHHS, whose journey to Hollywood was marked by an unconventional route. Born in Cleveland, she graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a degree in classical voice, then ventured to New York City to pursue a career in Broadway musicals.
However, the events of 9/11 prompted a change of plans, and Lisa crossed the country to Hollywood to pursue acting in television and film. This marked the beginning of her extensive acting career, which includes appearances on a wide range of shows such as Gotham Knights, Young Rock, BMF, General Hospital, Scorpion, Rosewood, LA's Finest, Escape the Night 3, State Of Affairs, The Bridge, Matador, and 'Til Death, among others.
Lisa's film credits include notable titles such as Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Wrong Mommy (Lifetime),Truth Or Dare (Blumhouse),Charlie Valentine, Hard Times, and Criminal Activities, alongside talented actors like Raymond Barry, Michael Pitt, and Rob Brown.
In addition to her work in TV and film, Lisa has also had a successful career in commercials, video games, and as a brand ambassador and product/service specialist. She has traveled extensively, speaking on behalf of various companies and products.
As a stuntwoman, Lisa has worked on numerous popular TV shows and films, including Wakanda Forever, Shazam 2, The Descendants: Rise of Red, and many others. She has doubled actresses such as Daniella Alonso, Julie Carmen, Jeanine Mason, Karla Souza, Gina Rodriguez, Ruth Negga, Jennifer Lopez, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Kristian Alfonzo, and Nadine Velasquez, specializing in stunts that require trained acting.
Outside of her Hollywood career, Lisa has established herself as an award-winning automotive and travel photographer.
