Lionel Blair

Lionel's father, a barber, played a pivotal role in nurturing his passion for dancing and theatre, alongside that of his sister Joyce, from a young age. As a boy, Lionel began his acting career with the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC),but unfortunately, the remuneration was meager. Following the untimely passing of his father, his agent wisely suggested that the siblings transition to the realm of light entertainment, where the financial prospects were more lucrative. Initially, Lionel danced at the renowned Windmill Theatre in London's vibrant Soho district, simultaneously securing a few roles in films, including the notable "The World of Suzi Wong". In March 1967, Lionel tied the knot and went on to become a devoted father to their three children.
