Linus Roache embarked upon his illustrious acting career at the tender age of 11, making a memorable two-week appearance as a youthful Barlow on the iconic British soap opera Coronation Street in 1960. This early foray into the world of acting was followed by a notable performance as a boy afflicted with the bubonic plague in the esteemed television series The Onedin Line in 1971.
For the next two decades, Roache dedicated himself to honing his craft on the stage, where he spent a significant amount of time refining his skills. It wasn't until 1986 that he began to appear in film, making brief appearances in a few productions, including the critically acclaimed Link.
