Linus Ignatius is a multifaceted creative individual, professionally traversing the realms of filmmaking and acting. His academic background is rooted in film school, where he honed his skills in the Czech Republic.
Throughout his career, Linus has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed organizations, including the Wooster Group, the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, RYOT films, Prague Film and Theater Center, and The Generations Project. His body of work encompasses a diverse range of projects, from directing to starring in various productions.
One of his most notable achievements is the short film MASS (2018),a thought-provoking psychological dark comedy that delves into the complexities of body dysmorphia. In addition to his work on MASS, Linus also appeared as a lead in Shemie Reut's feature film, Faking Real (Firelane - 2018).
Furthermore, Linus has made a significant impact with his documentary memoir POSITIVE (2015),a deeply personal and intimate portrayal of living with HIV. This poignant work has been showcased at various film festivals, including those in Berlin, London, and the 30Under30 Festival in partnership with the United Nations.
Beyond his work in film, Linus has also made a name for himself in the music video realm, with his creation NIGHT SPIRITS (2017) being screened at The Manhattan Independent Film Festival.
Linus's acting credits are equally impressive, with notable roles in Mysteries at the Museum (Travel Channel),Hamlet (Red Mermaid Productions),Jerker (Queer Stages),Cymbeline (The Brick),and Horse (Planet Connections).
