Lindy Davies, a highly accomplished and influential figure in the world of drama, assumed the esteemed position of Dean of the School of Drama at the prestigious Victorian College of Arts in Melbourne in 1995. For a remarkable eleven-year period, from 1995 to 2007, she played a pivotal role in shaping the institution's academic landscape, during which time she pioneered the development of an innovative, integrated Theatre Training Course for Actors, Directors, and Writers.
Upon leaving her post as Dean in February 2007, Lindy Davies embarked on a new chapter in her career, transitioning from academia to a freelance artistic career. As a theatre director, actress, script consultant, and performance consultant, she has continued to make significant contributions to the world of performing arts.
