Biography

Born in the vibrant state of Florida, a blonde and handsome actor emerged, whose journey began after graduating from Bolles High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He then pursued a degree in psychology and business administration at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, before relocating to New York City to study acting at the renowned Neighborhood Playhouse.

After working in small roles, he landed a significant part in the 1994 film Wyatt Earp, opposite the legendary Kevin Costner. However, it was his iconic portrayal of Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat martial arts film, based on the popular video game, that catapulted him to stardom. Starring alongside Christopher Lambert, the actor trained for two months in martial arts to prepare for the role.

In 1997, he starred in the action-packed film Blast, directed by Albert Pyun, alongside the esteemed Rutger Hauer. He played the character of Jack Bryant, a former Tae Kwon Do champion forced to utilize his martial arts skills to thwart the sinister plans of ruthless terrorists targeting the Olympic swimming pool in Atlanta, where the Olympic Games were underway (a clear reference to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, where a real-life attack occurred).

The following year, he appeared in 35 episodes of the popular television show Melrose Place, playing the charming role of Dr. Bret Cooper. In 2004, he starred in Wild Things 2 and concurrently took part in 55 episodes of the soap opera Young and the Restless, where he portrayed the cunning murderer Cameron Kirsten.

In 2007, he joined the cast of Resident Evil: Extinction, opposite the talented Milla Jovovich. The following year, he starred in Impact Point and co-starred with the action legend Steven Seagal in the action film Against the Dark. In 2009, he appeared in the action-packed Anaconda - Trail of Blood.

From 2011 to 2017, he took on the role of Sheriff Stilinski in the popular television series Teen Wolf.
