Biography

Linda Powell is a renowned actress, based in New York, with a versatile career spanning both Broadway and off-Broadway productions, as well as numerous television shows. Her impressive television credits include appearances in Modern Love, Blind Spot, Bull, House of Cards, Chicago Fire, Madam Secretary, and Law & Order SVU.

In addition to her television work, Linda has also made a significant impact in the film industry, with notable roles in The Report, The Courtroom, I Think I Love my Wife, and American Gangster. Most recently, she enjoyed a successful run starring as Neil Diamond's therapist in the Broadway bio-musical "A Beautiful Noise".

Born in Ft. Benning, Georgia, Linda is an Army brat, being the daughter of Colin Powell. Her childhood was marked by frequent moves, as her family was stationed on various Army bases across the country, as well as in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. She attended high schools in Virginia, Colorado, and Kansas before graduating from The College of William and Mary with degrees in English and Theater.

Following her college education, Linda moved to New York to attend Circle in the Square Theater School, where she further honed her craft. The city soon became her adopted home, and she has since established herself as a talented and versatile actress in the New York theater scene.
