Biography

Linda Hamilton, a talented actress, hails from the charming city of Salisbury, Maryland, in the United States of America. After completing her secondary education, she pursued higher learning for two years at Washington College, situated in the picturesque town of Chestertown, Maryland. However, her passion for the performing arts soon led her to relocate to the vibrant city of New York, where she enrolled in acting workshops conducted by the renowned Lee Strasberg.

Her early forays into the entertainment industry were marked by small, yet significant, roles in various television series. However, it was her breakout performance in the iconic sci-fi film, The Terminator, released in 1984, that catapulted her to widespread recognition. Her most notable and enduring role, however, remains that of Catherine Chandler in the popular television series, Beauty and the Beast, which premiered in 1987. This role, which showcased her exceptional acting prowess, solidified her status as a household name, preceding her subsequent appearance in the highly successful sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, released in 1991.
