Lin Shaye

Lin's academic journey began at the University of Michigan, where she majestically majored in Art History, simultaneously indulging in her passion for acting by participating in a plethora of university productions, including the renowned "Bye Bye Birdie" and "On The Town". Following her undergraduate studies, Lin enrolled at Columbia University School of the Arts, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting, further honing her craft. Upon graduation, Lin remained in New York, where she immersed herself in a wide range of off- and off-off-Broadway productions, as well as esteemed institutions such as Lincoln Center and Broadway. Throughout her career, Lin has had the privilege of studying under the guidance of some of the most revered figures in the industry, including the inimitable Uta Hagen, the incomparable Stella Adler, and the legendary Lee Strasberg. Furthermore, Lin has the distinction of being a lifetime member of the Actors Studio, a testament to her unwavering dedication to her craft.
