Biography

Lew's academic journey commenced at Ithaca College, where he earned his degree in 1951, and as a notable achievement, he was an esteemed member of the prestigious Delta Kappa fraternity.

Following his undergraduate studies, Lew pursued advanced education at Columbia University, spending a year from 1954 to 1955 honing his skills and knowledge.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Lew received the Lifetime Achievement Award from his alma mater, Ithaca College, posthumously in the year 2001.

Throughout his illustrious career, Lew made significant impacts in the entertainment industry, particularly through his involvement with the Entertainment Industry Foundation. He co-founded a golf tournament in support of this esteemed organization and served as a valued member of its board.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Lew was dedicated to giving back to his community. He initiated and organized golf tournaments to benefit the St. John of God Care Center and Villa Scallabrini Retirement Home.

Lew's dedication to his craft and his community was formally acknowledged in 1998, when he was honored as the Man of the Year by the Los Angeles Italian American Golf Association.
