Lev Friedman, a visionary leader, established Congregation B'nai Or of Boston twenty years ago, pioneering a Jewish Renewal community that has since flourished. He served as the spiritual leader of this esteemed organization until 1998, guiding its development and growth. Prior to his tenure at the congregation, Friedman was a prolific singer-songwriter in the Boston area, entertaining audiences from 1976 to 1984. Following his stint as a musician, he transitioned to a new venture, acquiring Kolbo Fine Judaica in Brookline, Massachusetts. Today, Friedman resides with his loving wife and three children in a home where music is an integral part of daily life, surrounded by the beauty and harmony that he has always cherished.
