For over 25 years, she ran a successful independent sales and marketing business before transitioning to her passion for performing.
As a talented actress, Leslie has appeared in various television and film roles since 2002. She has also been actively involved with the Women in Film Actor's Group, chairing and leading the organization, producing, booking talent, and hosting panel discussions featuring top Hollywood directors, writers, producers, and actors. Additionally, she worked as a talent executive for the webisode television documentary news series "Understanding Cancer."
Leslie's passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge has led her to develop workshops on "The Business of Acting," which have attracted students from around the world. Her expertise in the entertainment industry has also enabled her to produce comedy benefit events for various non-profit organizations, schools, and church groups.
As a stand-up comedienne, Leslie has performed at comedy clubs throughout Los Angeles and Orange County under her alter ego "Berger, the Berger with Everything." When she's not in front of or behind the camera, planning and coordinating events, producing fundraisers for non-profit organizations, Leslie enjoys attending jazz and R&B concerts, plays, musicals, and traveling the world.
One of Leslie's greatest passions is giving back to her community. She is a volunteer for various charity foundations, particularly those that support at-risk youth. Leslie serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization "Sarge's Community Base, Inc.," which aims to empower young people through respect, discipline, and structure.
