Lesleh, a talented individual, hails from the vibrant city of Toronto, where her journey in the modeling world began at the tender age of nine with International Top Models. Her early start in the industry paved the way for her to take on more substantial roles, including a notable appearance in Gilles Carle's production of "The Homecoming" for CBC's "For the Record" series.
As her career progressed, Lesleh landed roles in prominent films such as "Running," where she played the daughter of Michael Douglas, and "Happy Birthday To Me," directed by J. Lee Thompson. Her standout performance in the lead role of "Funeral Home," directed by Bill Fruet, earned her a Genie award nomination for Best Actress.
Lesleh's passion for her craft is evident in her favorite roles, which include originating the character of Sandy Miles in George F. Walker's play "Criminals in Love." She has also had the privilege of playing iconic characters such as Anne Frank in "The Diary Of Anne Frank" at the Manitoba Theatre Centre, Anna in "Burn This" alongside Eric McCormack, and Evelyn Dick in Doug Rodger's play "How Could You Mrs. Dick," a role she originated.
Lesleh met her husband, Stephen T. Kaiser, at the prestigious Royal National Theatre School of Great Britain's Summer intensive program. The couple now resides in New York City with their two children, Gavin and Liam. Despite her busy schedule, Lesleh continues to pursue her passion for acting, taking on roles in off-off-Broadway and regional theater productions, as well as honing her skills as a poet by writing poetry.
