Born in Scotland, Lee Turnbull's journey in the entertainment industry began at the Anna Scher Theater School, where he started honing his acting skills from a young age. His breakthrough role came at just 11 years old, when he landed the lead in the Channel 4 film "Willies War". This early success was followed by a period of tumultuous adolescence, during which Turnbull was expelled from school at the age of 16.
Despite this setback, Turnbull refused to let his passion for acting wane, and he continued to pursue his dreams while working odd jobs across Europe. He spent time working in bars and clubs, and even dabbled in dolphin training in Marmaris, Turkey. However, it was clear that acting was always going to be his true calling.
In 2004, Turnbull landed the lead role in ITV's "Making Waves", playing the part of sailor OM Mickey Sobanski. This was followed by his biggest role to date, the lead in the award-winning movie "Zebra Crossing", in 2008. Turnbull's impressive performance in this film solidified his status as a talented young actor.
In 2010, Turnbull took on the role of 'Slightly' in the West End production of "Peter Pan", a part that he played to great acclaim. The show was a huge success, and after a run in London, it transferred to the United States, where Turnbull traveled with the production and enjoyed two years of success.
After "Peter Pan" came to a close, Turnbull took some time out of the spotlight, embarking on a six-month journey of self-discovery and exploration in south-east Asia. And now, he has decided to take his talents to Hollywood, where he currently resides and continues to pursue his passion for acting.
