Thean-jeen is a highly accomplished and celebrated writer-director and showrunner, renowned for his outstanding contributions to the Singapore independent production industry. Throughout his illustrious career, he has created, executive-produced, written, and directed an impressive 150 hours of film and television content, showcasing his versatility and talent.
His impressive portfolio includes the award-winning projects, AlterAsians and The Singapore Short Story Project, as well as four seasons of the critically acclaimed Code Of Law. Furthermore, he has recently worked on several notable projects, serving as executive producer, writer, and director for The Bridge on Viu Malaysia/HBO Asia, Divided (分裂),and Derek for MediaCorp Toggle.
Additionally, Thean-jeen has also ventured into feature films, penning and directing the Malaysia-Singapore co-production Homecoming 笑着回家, Bring Back The Dead 招魂, and The Big Day简单的婚礼.
