Her father, Lester, was a devout Evangelist, while her mother, Earlene, was a dedicated Sunday School teacher. At the tender age of twelve, Lee began performing Gospel songs alongside her sister, Carolyn, showcasing her early talent. Following a successful decade-long modeling career, she transitioned into acting, starting in Tampa, where a director/producer discovered her and introduced her to a reputable agent. This pivotal connection led to her relocation to the entertainment capital of Hollywood in 1982. One of her most notable roles was that of Jenny in the CBS mystery drama television series, The New Mike Hammer, which premiered in 1984 and starred the talented Stacy Keach as the titular detective.
