Born on a warm summer day, August 19, 1983, in the vibrant city of Belgrade, Serbia, Lazar Bodroža embarked on a creative journey that would take him to new heights. As a multifaceted individual, he wears many hats, including that of a film director and visual artist.
In 2009, Bodroža co-founded Metaklinika, an independent design studio that allowed him to express his artistic vision. His passion for art didn't stop there, as he also became a member of the innovative art collective Kosmoplovci. This collective, known for pushing the boundaries of art, allowed Bodroža to showcase his talents to a wider audience.
In 2011, PRINT magazine took notice of his exceptional work and listed him as one of the top 20 visual artists under the age of 30. This recognition marked a significant milestone in his career, solidifying his position as a rising star in the art world.
In 2018, Bodroža made his feature film directorial debut with A.I. Rising, a science fiction film based on a short story by Zoran Nešković. This ambitious project showcased his ability to bring complex ideas to life on the big screen.
