With a diverse range of educational and professional backgrounds, including interactive media, animation, journalism, and design, Sumiye's unique fusion of skills and expertise has yielded a distinctive body of work that seamlessly blends film, drawing, and installation art.
Throughout her illustrious career, Sumiye has garnered numerous accolades for her films, which have been showcased at prestigious festivals such as DOC NYC, BAMcinemaFest, and DOCUTAH.
