Lauren Schaffel's impressive journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of five, when she made her television debut as the kindergarten girlfriend of "Fudge" in the Saturday-morning series of the same name.
As a teenager, Lauren gained recognition for her recurring role as Becca, the charming yet mischievous best friend of "Lauren Miller" on the popular sitcom "Still Standing".
Furthermore, Lauren showcased her exceptional talent by auditioning for and winning the lead role in the pilot for the Bravo reality show "Situation Comedy", produced by the accomplished Sean Hayes.
In addition to her work in sitcoms, Lauren honed her skills in improvisation with the renowned Groundlings and was also a student of classical voice. She even placed as a finalist in classical voice at The Spotlight Awards, a prestigious young-talent competition held at the Los Angeles Music Center, while still in high school.
Lauren's passion for theater and music continued to flourish as she pursued her studies at Columbia University and the Juilliard School. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English and Theater, and her impressive resume boasts appearances in productions of "The Little Prince" in the title role and "A New Brain" as Nurse Nancy.
Currently residing in New York City, Lauren has made a name for herself in the off-Broadway theater scene, with notable performances in "King Lear", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and "Jake's Women".
Her distinctive voice has also been featured in a radio commercial for "Campbell's Soup", and she has appeared in a major motion picture alongside the talented Tina Fey, as well as another produced by the acclaimed Martin Scorsese, and a third starring Heather Graham and John Corbett.
