Born on January 25, 1976, in Piatra Neamt, Romania, she was destined for a life in the performing arts. Her academic pursuits led her to graduate from the prestigious University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 2000.
Vasiliu's cinematic career began to take shape in 2002, when she landed her first role in the film "Binecuvântata fii, închisoare". Her subsequent performances in notable films such as "Second-Hand" (2005),"4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days" (2007),and "Milo" (2012) showcased her impressive range as an actress.
