Laura Patalano began her professional career in Mexico after graduating from El Instituto de Arte Escénico, where she received formal training. Her television credits include recurring roles in This Fool, Gentefied, The L Word: Generation Q, and Victor and Valentino, among many others.
She has also appeared in various films, such as Chop-Shop, which was an official selection at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival, and The Imperialists Are Still Alive, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. Additionally, she has been part of the award-winning independent feature films Mosquita y Mari and First Girl I Loved, which won the 2016 Sundance Audience Award for Best of NEXT.
Ms. Patalano has also ventured into the voice-over field, landing a recurring role in the animated series Victor & Valentino, as well as numerous commercials. Her stage credits include various productions in Mexico and New York City, such as Una Esfinge Llamada Cornelia, Frida Kahlo, Vamos a Contar Mentiras, and A La Diestra de Dios Padre.
In New York City, she created the role of Carmen Antonia in Thalia Spanish Theatre's bilingual production of The Ladies Room/Baño de Damas, for which she won an HOLA Award and was nominated for an ACE Award. After over 10 years in New York City, Ms. Patalano relocated to Los Angeles and is the proud mother of twin daughters.
