Laura London is a renowned female sleight of hand artist, close-up magician, cabaret performer, motivational speaker, and acclaimed lecturer on the history of magic. Born in London, she developed an interest in magic at the age of eight, after witnessing a family friend's performance.
Just one week after her 18th birthday, Laura became the youngest ever female member of The Magic Circle, and is now a member of the exclusive Inner Magic Circle, a position reserved for the very best and achieved only by election from her peers.
Laura's first love is sleight of hand, and her exceptional card skills were showcased in her show "Laura London: CHEAT," which premiered at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe. The show tells the story of a female cardsharp in the 1920s and has been performed to standing ovations at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, several European cities, and international magic conventions.
Within six months of becoming professional, Laura landed her first TV show, "Playing Tricks," a ten-part street magic series, in which she was the only female among the six featured magicians. Her other TV credits include ITV1's "The Next Great Magician," "Penn and Teller's 'Fool Us,'" "The Magic Party," and "Children In Need."
Laura is currently the "magician of choice" at many fashionable London venues and events, including residencies at the Café de Paris, the Hippodrome, Scarfe's Bar, and the Savoy. She has performed for Her Majesty the Queen at Buckingham Palace and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales on several occasions.
A favorite at parties and events, Laura can entertain guests at an intimate dinner party, table hop at large corporate events, captivate her audience from the cabaret stage, or enthrall them with her one-woman show CHEAT. Her magical talents have been seen at events in Paris, Lisbon, Miami, New York, LA, Sydney, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Mumbai, Johannesburg, Dubai, and The Maldives.
