Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Larry's early life took a turn when his family relocated to Evansville, Indiana, where he developed a passion for writing at the tender age of seventeen. He began his professional writing career by crafting articles for various websites, occasional op-eds for the local newspaper, and entertainment and rock journalism pieces for News4U magazine, which was distributed throughout Indiana and Kentucky.
As Larry sought new challenges and opportunities, he made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles in 2001. He embarked on a short-lived career in independent film production, serving as a script supervisor. However, his true calling remained in the written word, and he soon returned to his freelance roots.
In the summer of 2002, Larry revisited the world of screenwriting, re-writing the pilot script for the project then titled "LoveFetish," which would later be re-titled "Fetish" and then "ThinkKinky." This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career, as he went on to assume the role of head screenwriter for Marullus Productions, Inc.
Larry's tenure at Marullus Productions was marked by significant accomplishments, including penning the pilot teleplay and story for the science fiction drama "Metropolis." In September of 2002, he completed his first feature film script, "Perfect Plan," for Mother Nature Productions. Over the next two years, he wrote four more feature films, optioning them to Marullus Productions, Inc. He also took on the role of Vice-President at MPI until March 2004, when he parted ways with the company due to creative differences.
Today, Larry splits his time between various writing projects, script supervising, and producing short films for up-and-coming companies and directors. He currently resides in Hollywood, California, and continues to pursue his passions, seeking truth, beauty, love, and a good agent along the way.
