After completing his mandatory military service, he was honorably discharged and subsequently traveled to Canada, where he embarked on a new career path in the advertising industry, utilizing his creative skills to craft catchy jingles for television commercials. Concurrently, he assumed the leadership role within a group of talented young musicians and vocalists, aptly named Lord Lance and his Calypsons, as they performed at various nightspots throughout Montreal, with him taking on the guitar duties.
