Lacy Fisher is a multifaceted individual with a rich background in the entertainment industry. Born on December 10th in Fort Collins, Colorado, during a blizzard, Fisher spent her early years engaging in outdoor activities with her family, including swimming, fishing, and four-wheeling. Her summers were often filled with road trips to California with her grandparents, where they would explore the desert landscapes of New Mexico and Arizona.
Fisher's family was known for its eclectic menagerie, which included dogs, cats, reptiles, snakes, a chameleon, turtles, rabbits, and even a tarantula. This environment fostered her creativity and love for music, as she was deeply moved by music from an early age. Fisher would often dress up with her friends as Disney characters and put on impromptu performances, and she would also host concerts on her front porch with her step-mom, singing songs by The Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffett.
As she entered middle school, Fisher discovered her passion for music and performance. She was an active member of the school's chorus, volleyball team, and track and field team, and she even earned honors as a varsity cheerleader and show choir participant. It was during her early high school years that she found solace in choir, where she discovered her true singing voice.
Fisher's high school drama teacher recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a career in acting. She took this advice to heart, relocating to Hollywood after graduation and beginning her acting career in 2008. She worked as a production assistant and later assisted renowned producer and director Don Mischer. Fisher credits her creative home, Diana Castle's studio The Imagined Life, as the most pivotal relationship in her creative life.
In addition to her acting career, Fisher is also a passionate advocate for gun safety and animal welfare. She has worked with No-Kill Los Angeles, a initiative founded by Best Friends Animal Society, which has significantly reduced the number of animals killed in Los Angeles city shelters since its launch in 2012. Fisher is also the lead singer and founder of her band, The Fugitive Kind.
