Kriti Kharbanda is an Indian actress who has worked in various languages such as Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi. She attended Baldwin's Girls' High School and later Bishop Cotton Girls' School in Bangalore, and graduated from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College.
As a child, Kharbanda appeared in several advertisements and continued modelling during her college years, working with brands like Fair & Lovely, Bhima Jewellers, and Spar. Her advertisement with Spar led to her first acting break.
Kharbanda made her acting debut in the Telugu film industry with the 2009 film Boni, an action film in which she played the female lead. Although the film was unsuccessful, her performance earned positive reviews from critics.
She then debuted in the Kannada film industry with the 2010 film Chiru, which was a box office success. Kharbanda's subsequent releases include Ala Modalaindi, Teen Maar, Mr. Nookayya, and Prem Adda.
In 2013, Kharbanda had multiple releases, including Galaate, Ongole Githa, Om 3D, and Googly. Om 3D was Telugu cinema's first 3D action film. Her performance in Googly earned her praise from critics.
Kharbanda received the Critics' Best Actress Award at the South Indian International Movie Awards for her role in Super Ranga and was nominated for Best Actress at the Filmfare awards and Best Actress in a Leading Role at South Indian International Movie Awards.
She continued to work in the industry, receiving positive reviews for her performances in Belli, Thirupathi Express, Minchagi Nee Baralu, and Bruce Lee - The Fighter.
Kharbanda made her Hindi film debut with Raaz Reboot in 2016 and then debuted in Tamil with Bruce Lee in 2017. She also appeared in Maasthi Gudi, Guest iin London, and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.
Her subsequent releases include Karwaan, Dalapathi, Veerey Ki Wedding, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se..., Housefull 4, and Pagalpanti. She won the Best Actress in a Comic Role in the 2020 Lions Gold Awards for her role in Housefull 4.
Kharbanda also appeared in the 2020 film Taish, which was released on ZEE5 as a feature film and six-episode TV series, and in 14 Phere in 2021.
