Kristy Dawn Dinsmore, a talented individual born and raised outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, embarked on her artistic journey at the tender age of three by enrolling in a local musical theatre school. Her innate energy and fervent passion for the arts were evident, and she soon found herself excelling in dance, receiving numerous scholarships and awards, including The Melanie Desiling Award for Most Promising Dancer.
As a professional dancer, Kristy's accomplishments included performing at various events and local shows, such as multiple Grey Cups and the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Closing Ceremonies. Her dance teacher, who recognized her potential and talent, urged her to sign with a local talent agency at the age of 16. This marked the beginning of her successful acting career, as she landed her first on-screen role as a young Mimi Rogers in a Lifetime Movie.
Over the years, Kristy has appeared in a variety of films and TV shows, including a Comcast Xfinity Super Bowl commercial in 2016 and local productions in her hometown of Vancouver, such as Rogue, Supernatural, and Loudermilk. Her recent notable roles include starring as Amma in the 5th and 6th seasons of The History Channel's TV-drama, Vikings, and as a series regular on The Syfy Network's Day Of The Dead, set to air in 2021.
Currently residing in Los Angeles with her dog Mochi, Kristy continues to hone her craft by studying with private acting coach, Ivana Chubbuck.
