Born in the year 2007, in the vibrant city of Vancouver, Canada, Koyu was welcomed into the world by a Scottish-Canadian father and a Japanese mother, thus giving him a unique cultural heritage. This diverse upbringing allowed him to develop a strong proficiency in not one, but two languages, namely Japanese and English.
