Kisu's Early Life and Martial Arts Training
Kisu's childhood was marked by challenges, as he was raised by his mother in a troubled neighborhood in Missouri. He had to fight to keep his lunch money at school, but this adversity ultimately led him to discover his passion for martial arts at the tender age of six. He began his training in martial arts and went on to join the military and special forces for six years.
During his time in the military, Kisu continued to hone his skills in Muay Thai and Tae Kwon Do. It was during this period that he met his teacher, Ken Hui, and began to study under him. Kisu's dedication to his craft led him to become an expert in Northern Shaolin and earn the prestigious title of Sifu. He also gained valuable experience by participating in underground fights in California, where he earned a significant amount of money.
The Tradition of Martial Arts
The art of martial arts has a rich history that spans across the globe. A great teacher, Master So Bin Yuen, brought the tradition to the USA and taught Master Ken Hui in Los Angeles. Master Hui has been Kisu's teacher and mentor, guiding him on his journey to become a skilled martial artist. Kisu has traveled the world to further his skills and has befriended many other martial artists, including his co-stars T.J. Storm and Eric Lee.
Athleticvements Achie and Acting Career
Kisu is a talented athlete and gymnast, with skills that have been showcased on television in his roles as an actor or stuntman. Some of his most notable roles include Power Rangers and Shootfighter 1. He has also choreographed for The Power Rangers and has worked as a bodyguard for many stars. In addition to his acting career, Kisu is an accomplished snowboarder and motorcycle rider.
Personal Life
Kisu is a devoted father to his daughter and four well-disciplined sons. Two of his sons are martial arts champions in Chinese Forms and Fighting. His oldest son separated from the Army after two deployments to Iraq and is now pursuing a degree in Computer Animation and Game Design.
