Kira hails from California, where she embarked on a theatrical journey at the Orange County School of the Arts, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Stephens College. Following her academic pursuits, she relocated to New York and went on to tread the boards in various productions across the country, including 9 to 5, White Christmas, and Legally Blonde.
Her impressive resume also boasts performances at the inaugural opening of the French-American Cultural Center in Paris, where she brought to life the character of "Willie" in This Property is Condemned. Additionally, she has had the distinction of performing in repertory with the University of Southern California, gracing the stages of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on multiple occasions.
In 2015, Kira made the bold decision to relocate to New Zealand, where she has since called Wellington, Christchurch, and Auckland home. Her notable New Zealand theatre credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Legally Blonde, Chicago, Les Misérables, and Wicked.
Beyond her acting prowess, Kira has also established herself as a skilled choreographer, with credits including The Drowsy Chaperone, Wedding Singer, Urinetown, Little Women, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Furthermore, she is a trained tap dancer and teaches her craft regularly throughout the country, sharing her passion with aspiring performers.
