The Konwiser Brothers embarked on their professional journey together, and their enduring partnership has been a hallmark of their illustrious careers. Their earliest forays into the entertainment industry involved performing as professional tap dancers in various shows across the country, which showcased a diverse range of talents, including dance, juggling, comedy, and magic, captivating audiences on stages and street corners alike.
As professional skiers, they began creating films for Warren Miller Ski Films, marking the beginning of their formal collaboration. Following their graduation from the USC Cinema-Television graduate program, they worked as writers on "The New Jonny Quest" and pursued various music and film projects with notable artists, including drummer Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Herbie Hancock, The Doors, Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, Peter Gabriel, and Oliver Stone, among others.
Their multi-media endeavors also involved collaborations with partners from the music and film industries. In addition, they served as production and development executives for USC Film School's founding dean, Academy Award-winning dramaturge Frank Daniel, as well as for Academy Award-winning producer Laurence Mark.
The Konwiser Brothers' cinematic achievements include the critically acclaimed film "Miss Evers' Boys" (1997),which earned a staggering 12 Emmy nominations and won five awards, including Best Made for Television Film. They soon followed this success with another Emmy Award for their sports documentary "On Hallowed Ground" (2000) (TV) and have since continued to write, produce, direct, and compose music for numerous film and television productions.
