Biography

King Charles III, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was born on November 14, 1948, at Buckingham Palace in London, England. As the first in line to the throne, Charles has been preparing for his future role as monarch since his early years. In 1969, he received his first military services appointment, marking the beginning of his extensive military career.

As a man of refined tastes, Charles has a penchant for scrambled eggs, which he often enjoys with a glass of whisky. He is also an avid outdoorsman, frequently visiting Scotland, UK; Klosters, Switzerland; and the Eleuthra in the Caribbean. His hobbies include hunting, shooting, fishing, polo, skiing, painting, writing, and reading.

On February 24, 1981, the engagement of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer was announced at Buckingham Palace. The couple's fairy-tale wedding took place on July 29, 1981, at St. Paul's Cathedral, with millions of people around the world tuning in to watch. The union produced two sons, Prince William of Wales, born on June 21, 1982, and Prince Harry, born on September 15, 1984. However, the marriage between Charles and Diana was not without its challenges.

In the months leading up to Harry's birth, Charles and Diana were reportedly closer than ever before. However, their relationship began to deteriorate shortly after Harry's birth, and the couple eventually divorced on August 28, 1996. Tragically, Princess Diana died in a car crash on August 31, 1997.

In 2005, Charles married his long-time love, Camilla Parker Bowles, now known as Queen Camilla. The couple has been inseparable ever since, and Camilla has become a prominent figure in British royal circles.
