Kim Topper, a classically trained thespian, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Boston University, graduating with honors Magna Cum Laude. Her most notable screen role to date is the portrayal of "Maria" in the Sundance Award-winning feature film 2 by 4, lensed by the esteemed Oscar-winning cinematographer Declan Quinn.
She is set to appear as the sister of Taryn Manning in the upcoming film 513, directed by the acclaimed French filmmaker Kader Ayd. Kim's favorite film experiences include starring alongside Adrian Grenier in Ari Gold's Adventures of Power, as well as appearing alongside Cara Seymour (Hotel Rwanda, Adaptation) in the film Understanding Your Chances of Success. She has also worked with acclaimed director Marion Quinn on her short film Come To, alongside the talented Lili Taylor.
In addition to her film work, Kim has made guest appearances on popular television shows such as Bones, ER, Law & Order, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. She has also appeared in numerous national and international commercials, including a campaign for Elizabeth Arden alongside Liv Tyler and Iggy Pop, as well as a spot for Priceline.com with William Shatner.
Kim has also made a name for herself on stage, particularly in Boston and New York. Notable performances include her work with Ensemble Studio Theater in The Last of the Mohegans, and with Penguin Repertory Theater in the two-person drama Salt Water Moon, opposite Tim DeKay of television's White Collar and Carnivale. Additionally, Kim appears in the music video for Jeff Buckley's "The Last Goodbye", a testament to her enduring friendship with the late singer-songwriter.
