Kim Winter Mako, a talented individual, was born and raised in the Garden State of New Jersey. Her passion for the performing arts led her to pursue a degree in Theatre at Syracuse University's esteemed School of Visual & Performing Arts. Additionally, she had the opportunity to spend a semester at The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center/National Theatre Institute in New London, Connecticut, further honing her craft.
In New York City, Kim was a founding member of aTheatreCo., a non-profit theatre company that specialized in producing original plays. This venture brought together a talented group of individuals, mostly alumni of Syracuse University's Drama program, including the company's founder, Craig Walker, and the accomplished actor, Tom Everett Scott.
Kim's acting career has been shaped by her work with renowned acting coach, Bob Krakower, who was one of her earliest mentors. Today, she splits her time between Atlanta and the Southeast, as well as New York City.
Aside from her work in the performing arts, Kim has also made a name for herself as a published author. Her short stories and poetry have been featured in various literary magazines, including Sou'wester, The Nervous Breakdown, and The American Literary Review, among others.
