Biography

Kim Greist, a native of Connecticut, spent her late teenage years in Europe, where she pursued a career as a professional model. This international experience would later influence her future endeavors. At the age of 20, Greist returned to the United States and embarked on an acting career in the off-Broadway comedy "Second Prize: Two Months in Leningrad". Her subsequent stage credits included appearances in the prestigious New York Shakespeare Festival.

In 1984, Greist made her film debut in the horror epic C.H.U.D., showcasing her versatility as an actress. The following year, she landed what remains her most iconic role to date, playing the elusive blonde fantasy girl and futuristic bureaucrat alongside Jonathan Pryce in director Terry Gilliam's groundbreaking film Brazil. This critically acclaimed performance further solidified her status as a talented actress.

Throughout the 1990s, Greist continued to appear in a range of films and television productions, securing substantial roles in notable projects such as Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey and Roswell.
