Biography

Kieran O'Brien, a talented individual, began his journey to stardom as a child actor, captivating audiences with his portrayal of the title character in the BBC series Gruey. His subsequent success in the ITV series Children's Ward and his appearance alongside the late Harry Dean Stanton in The Jim Henson Hour further solidified his status as a rising star.

As he transitioned into adulthood, O'Brien continued to make a name for himself in the acting world, appearing in various mainstream dramas, including the critically acclaimed Cracker, where he worked alongside director Michael Winterbottom.

In 1999, O'Brien took on a bold role in Virtual Sexuality, featuring in a full-frontal nude scene that garnered significant attention. He repeated this feat in the BBC series Burn It, and later, in Winterbottom's film 9 Songs, which pushed the boundaries of explicit content in mainstream cinema.

O'Brien's collaboration with Winterbottom has resulted in eight independent feature films, with the most recent being The Look of Love. His chemistry with American model Margo Stilley, whom he co-starred with in 9 Songs, was undeniable, thanks to his confidence and physique.

Although his provocative role in 9 Songs may forever be associated with his career, O'Brien has continued to work in high-profile British and international television dramas, showcasing his versatility and range as an actor.
