Kicker Robinson, a Texarcana, Texas native, was born to Bob 'BigBoy' Kicker, a United States Marshal, and his stunning wife, Hildy, a former beauty queen. As a talented football quarterback, Kicker earned All-American honors, but his promising collegiate career was cut short when he suffered a devastating knee injury in a county fair crash-up derby during his freshman year.
To this day, a visual clue to his injury remains apparent: all of his on-screen left leg kicks are actually performed with his right leg, and the film negative is flipped from left to right to create the illusion. Furthermore, Kicker holds black belts in both Judo and Kai-Luk-To marshal arts, solidifying his reputation as a formidable and skilled individual.
Kicker's signature cowboy boot snap kick, accompanied by a loud "ooh-rah" yell, is a nod to his early United States Marine Corps training, showcasing his proud and storied past.
