Born in Toronto, Kevin's father was a prolific writer and producer of radio shows, as well as a documentarian for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Kevin's mother, too, has had a profound impact on his life. She began her career as a nurse and later earned her Master's in Business Administration, retiring as the Administrator/CEO of various drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers around the world. She was instrumental in the establishment and operation of Eric Clapton's Crossroads hospital in Antigua, and spent many years as the Director of the renowned Betty Ford Center. Moreover, she serves as the chairwoman of the National Board for Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation.
Kevin's athletic background is equally impressive, with honors and medals earned in numerous sports. His exceptional skills in water polo earned him All-American honorable mention recognition during his sophomore year of college. After completing his education, Kevin embarked on a career in the US Navy, serving in the elite Special Operations community as a Navy SEAL. He deployed to various parts of the globe, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience.
Following his time in the Navy, Kevin transitioned to a career in foreign affairs, working as a consultant for eight years. During this period, he deployed to combat zones and unstable regions, applying his expertise to promote stability and security. With a unique blend of experience as a Corpsman, SEAL, firefighter, and rescue specialist, Kevin brings a depth of authenticity to his work as a writer and actor.
