For three decades, I have been an active participant in the preproduction design and storyboarding process for animated films, television, and live-action productions, honing my expertise in the art of storyboarding with a particular emphasis on staging and camera usage.
Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for tackling complex action scenes, showcasing my versatility as a board artist. Notably, my time spent working on 'The Simpsons' served as an invaluable learning experience, providing me with an intense workshop on staging comedy.
My dedication to my craft has earned me two Annie Award nominations, for 'The Iron Giant' and 'The Incredibles', with a win for 'The Incredibles'. In addition, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge with the next generation of artists by teaching interns at Pixar and presenting my process to museum audiences.
Recently, I have contributed to the online 'Pixar in a Box' program, a comprehensive educational resource designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of the animation process. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of delivering lectures and workshops at prestigious institutions, including Schoolism in Florence, Italy, and the Anima Mundi Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
