Biography

Noted character actor, whose diminutive stature and receding hairline became an integral part of his on-screen persona, initially rose to prominence on the British television series "The Bill" in 1984, however, his life was marred by the demons of addiction, ultimately leading to his tragic demise in a rehabilitation clinic, mere days after being dismissed from the show.

Throughout his life, this talented individual was blessed with eight children, including one adopted child and another who sadly passed away in infancy. In addition to his television work, he had a prolific career on the UK stage, with a notable performance in the 1970s production of Joe Orton's "What The Butler Saw".
