Kevin Lindenmuth has spent over two decades honing his craft in the television, film, and video production industry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in film and video production from the esteemed University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, setting the stage for a prosperous career.
For the majority of his professional life, Kevin resided in New York City, where he immersed himself in various aspects of video production. His impressive résumé boasts expertise in producing, directing, editing, and camera/lighting work. During the 1990s, he produced, wrote, and directed numerous horror movies, including the iconic Addicted to Murder, which was crowned "best underground horror" movie by Cinefantastique magazine in 1996. This vampire movie spawned two successful sequels.
In recent years, Kevin has co-produced, directed, shot, and edited several documentaries that have aired on PBS. Notable titles include "But You Look So Well...", "But You Still Look So Well...": Living with Multiple Sclerosis, and The Healing Prophet: Solanus Casey, a documentary about a psychic monk that was broadcast globally by EWTN in 2007. Kevin is currently in post-production for "The Life of Death", a documentary featuring prominent figures in the horror genre, including Jack Ketchum, Caroline Munro, Bob Fingerman, Tony Timpone, and others.
In addition to his work in film and television, Kevin is also a published author. He has written three books on independent filmmaking: "Making Movies on Your Own" (1997),"The Independent Film Experience" (2001),and "The Documentary Moviemaking Course" (2010, Barron's).
