Kerrie Keane has had a prolific career spanning over three decades, performing on stage and screen. She graduated from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and later honed her acting skills with master teachers in Canada and the United States.
Throughout her film career, she has shared the screen with esteemed actors such as John Lithgow, Vanessa Redgrave, Peter Fonda, Oliver Reed, Elias Koteas, and John Cassavetes. Her notable film credits include Distant Thunder, Second Serve, Spasms, Malarek, and The Incubus. In 1989, she received a Genie nomination for Best Actress for her lead role in Hitting Home.
In television, Kerrie has had starring roles in three series: The Yellow Rose, Hot Pursuit, and Studio 5-B. She has also had recurring roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and has appeared in numerous TV movies, including A Death in California, A Degree in Deception, Mistress, The Perfect Daughter, Diagnosis Murder: The House on Sycamore Street, Divided We Stand, and Life of the Party: The Pamela Harriman Story, opposite Ann-Margret. She has had the honor of appearing as a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
In recent years, Kerrie has guest-starred on Cold Case, Criminal Minds, Castle, Ghost Whisperer, and NCIS, and appeared in the film 21 and a Wake-Up. In addition to her acting career, she is the Artistic Director of the White Buffalo Theatre Company in Los Angeles, which she founded in 2004. She has written, directed, and produced several original plays, including "Fool Am I" and "The Red and White Store", and has directed and produced productions at Deaf West Theatre, El Centro Theatre, and The Lost Studio.
