Kenya Dieja Williamson, author of the captivating novel "Depth of Focus: A Novel", embarked on her artistic journey after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia. She then relocated to Los Angeles, where she has since made a name for herself by appearing in numerous commercials, TV shows, and movies. Born in Pennsylvania, Kenya's creative roots run deep, with a childhood background in plays, musical theater, choirs, and orchestras.
Inspired by renowned poets such as Poe and Byron, Kenya's writing began with poetry, eventually transitioning to plays, scripts, and fiction. Her early acting credits include small roles in the Samuel L. Jackson film "One Eight Seven" (1997) and "The Players Club" (1998) alongside Ice Cube, as well as several TV shows like "Living Single" (1993),"Saved by the Bell: The New Class" (1993),"Yes, Dear" (2000),and "House" (2004).
As Kenya's focus shifted towards writing, she limited her acting to commercials, a web series, and voicing the animated character "Lorrin" for Health Nuts Media. Simultaneously, she has penned several scripts and is currently working on another novel.
