Biography

Kenneth 'Kenny' Alfonso is a seasoned character actor, comedian, producer, and entrepreneur, with a multifaceted career spanning over three decades.

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Kenny spent his early years following his humorous father around, learning the art of hitting the curveball on baseball fields.

After completing his four-year college baseball stint at Austin Peay, Kenny became a father himself and transitioned into a new career path. He spent two years as an Investigator for the State Attorney's Office in Tampa, before moving on to roles in law enforcement, life insurance, and pharmaceutical sales.

However, in 1994, Kenny's childhood dream of becoming an actor took center stage. He began taking acting and improv classes in Atlanta, where he enjoyed early success on stage, in commercials, and indie films. This marked the beginning of his journey as a full-time actor, comedian, and waiter.

Fast-forward to the present, Kenny has established himself as a prolific performer, with a slew of film and television credits to his name. He has appeared in numerous recurring television roles, including Tulsa King, Filthy Rich, Nashville, Wolf Pack, Long Slow Exhale, Saints and Sinners, Stargirl, The Have and Have Nots, Marry Me, and six seasons on Drop Dead Diva.

Some of his notable credits include Dopesick, NCIS - New Orleans, The Resident, The Thing About Pam, Jerry and Marge Go Large, The Founder, Creepshow, Hightown, and Prison Break. Kenny has also had the privilege of working alongside Academy Award-winning actors and directors, including Michael Keaton, Renee Zellwegger, Annette Benning, Patty Duke, Barry Levinson, Tate Taylor, and David Frankel.

From 2005-2007, Kenny was the 'Barkitect' on Barkitecture, a 'How To' show on the D.I.Y. Network and HGTV, where he designed and built custom doghouses for rescued and adopted dogs and their new forever families.

Kenny's achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the 'Best Lead Actor in a Comedy' award for The Bank at the LA Live Film Festival in 2022 and the 'Best Lead Actor in a Drama' award for The Crossing at the South Film and Arts Academy Festival in 2021.
