Kenneth Bowser is a multifaceted creative force in the world of documentary, feature film, and episodic television, with a distinct talent for crafting narratives that deeply explore American culture. In addition to his work on Phil Ochs, There But For Fortune, Bowser is the mastermind behind the writer, producer, and director of NBC's Emmy-nominated two-hour network special, Live From New York, The First Five Years of Saturday Night Live, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the iconic SNL. He has also been involved in the creation of SNL network specials for the 1980s and 1990s, and is currently working on the 2000s episode. Furthermore, Bowser is set to direct a narrative feature film based on Peter Biskind's bestseller Down & Dirty Pictures.
Bowser's impressive portfolio also includes writing and producing the Emmy-nominated John Ford/John Wayne, The Filmmaker and The Legend for PBS's American Masters, which was an official selection at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
