Ken, a Vancouver-based actor, improviser, comedian, and musician, hails from Scotland. His impressive credentials include winning a Leo Award for Best Performance in a music, comedy, or variety program for his work in the short film Irregardless, which he co-wrote with Jason Cermak and Nathan Clark. Additionally, Ken received a Leo Award nomination for Best Actor in a web series for his performance in Forgotten Masters and took home a Leo Award for Best Web Series (actor, writer, and producer) for the same project.
As a founding member and performer with the Canadian Comedy Award-winning The Comic Strippers: A Male Stripper Parody & Improv Comedy Show, Ken has honed his improvisational skills. He is also a long-time member of The Improv Centre (Vancouver TheatreSports) and has toured extensively throughout the Caribbean with Second City. Ken has appeared at numerous improv comedy festivals across North America and was a cast member of the critically acclaimed hit Gutenberg The Musical! (Vancouver).
With a lifelong passion for music, Ken is a skilled guitarist and has even "shredded" on his Flying V as a member of the comedy metal band The Knights of the Night. He is currently half of the improvised musical duo Citizen Hurricane. Furthermore, Ken has gained international recognition as an acclaimed storytelling and improv-based leadership development workshop facilitator.
