Kelly, a native New Yorker, embarked on a lifelong journey in the Arts, meticulously honing her skills in dance, voice, acting, and theatre within her community for over 25 years. Throughout her tenure, she not only refined her craft but also mentored aspiring Arts enthusiasts through music, theatre, and choir direction, fostering a sense of growth and development in her protégés.
Later in life, Kelly's film, commercial, and music video career took off, commencing with a call to return to her native New York to work on a music video with renowned Director Roman Jaquez for the group SIN COTORRA, an organization dedicated to combating domestic violence. This project not only marked a significant milestone in Kelly's career but also underscored her commitment to supporting local communities.
Kelly's dedication to her community is evident in her numerous commercial sets, many of which showcase the community in which she resides. One such notable project was the MEET MINNEAPOLIS Winter Tourism Commercial, produced in collaboration with the Minneapolis Convention Center. Furthermore, Kelly has appeared in several feature films, including DISCURSION, GOD'S GREEN EARTH, and two captivating short films, ALLERGIC TO LOVE and THE VACATIONERS, all of which were locally filmed in the Twin Cities and are slated for release in the near future.
