Kelleia Sheerin is a multifaceted artist, born to thrive in the Wild West, where she has made a name for herself as an actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and filmmaker. With her husband Peter Downing, she co-founded Pink Box Productions in 2020, and together they have created a plethora of innovative projects.
Kelleia's impressive repertoire includes her work as the co-creator, director, and star of the unconventional and provocative film Mother F*cker! (2021). Her short film, The Feminine Mystaque (2018),a dark comedic feminist horror flick, earned accolades from the Wildcat Spirit Film Festival and FirstTime FilmMaker Sessions.
Throughout her career, Kelleia has demonstrated her versatility, with credits ranging from winning "Best Director" in the Hollywood Fringe Festival for I Want to Bury My Testimony to dancing as an absurd Scottish Tart in Eric Idle's live radio-play What About Dick? (2012). Her other notable roles include portraying the charismatic Burlesque Star, Tempest Storm, in the film Gangster Squad (2013),and camping-it-up as a 16-year-old camp counselor in Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015).
Kelleia's extensive experience in the entertainment industry has earned her a reputation for her innate understanding of the work, her respect for the unpredictable, and her ability to solve any problem that may arise. She has built a strong foundation in her craft, with over 10,000 hours of professional experience.
In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Kelleia is also a dedicated teacher. She has been leading her signature dance class, Kelleia & The Jazz, for over a decade, which her students affectionately refer to as "sexy church!"
Kelleia is also an environmental advocate, passionate about clean and alternative energy. She supports BareFoot College, a village-based organization empowering women to become solar engineers, and has created the hippest hip-bag in the universe, The Luna Bag, made from HEMP and recycled bamboo.
